This thief was everybody's mom or grandmother. She was not a suspect until the new owners began looking at the paperwork. The new owners are well aware of loss prevention and security issues. They have been Corporate Combat members for more than a decade and well educated on the importance of being diligent in combating workplace theft. Not only did they remodel the entire building, they also "remodeled" the old policy under which the old employees were governed. In doing so they discovered what this suspect was doing. We were called in to conduct an investigation which led to a subsequent confrontation and interrogation of the employee.

She confessed to stealing $46,500!
